Alacrity targets responsiveness, while Inoculation addresses a specific defensive weakness. If Chaos damage is causing repeated deaths, resistance may matter more than making an already functional skill slightly faster.
<b>Price the Replacement, Not Just the Core</b>
The core’s purchase cost is only part of the investment. A compatible corrupted item still needs to meet the same standards as your existing equipment. Finding one with the right defensive modifiers and attributes can become the slower, more expensive step.
Compare complete setups before committing. Record your current Life, Spirit, resistances, and relevant skill performance, then estimate the proposed changes. Keep the comparison focused on the problem you want to solve.
A useful stopping point is a setup that improves that problem without opening another weakness. You do not need every possible corrupted slot filled immediately.
<b>Keep Your Working Setup Intact</b>
Keep replacement equipment available before risking an item you rely on. After each change, recheck attributes and defenses before continuing. This makes it easier to identify which replacement actually helped.
